Anytime you feel a rush to put something down “for now” STOP! Don’t do it! Look at all the stuff you want to get rid of and ask yourself how long you’ve put it: “I’m going to put it here FOREVER.” It’s a short-term way to trick ourselves into thinking we care. All we really do is save the problem for another day. So figure out what the item really needs to go to and take that action right away.

Many of the things we keep around are “just in case” because they might come in handy one day. If you’re being completely honest with yourself, what percentage of those things actually spend their day in the sun? Very, very little.
